The Georgia Department of Education School Nutrition Program and the Georgia School Nutrition Association invite you to take part in two great professional opportunities in Athens.

We are encouraging all school nutrition personnel to join GaDOE and GSNA in "Bridging the Gap" on Commodity and Procurement knowledge. This is your opportunity to get the latest information on procurement and  to view and sample the products offered by Georgia processors.

The “Procurement Panel” and the GSNA C.R.O.P. Show are held in conjunction with the GaDoe School Nutrition Directors' Conference (October 23rd -25th held at the Georgia Continuing Education Center at UGA). Representatives from USDA and the Georgia State Department of School Nutrition will help you understand the ins and outs of purchasing in Georgia.

The Procurement Panel will be held Tuesday, October 22nd at the Foundry in Ligotti Hall @ The Classic Center from 1:00 – 4:00 PM.

The C.R.O.P. Show will be on Wednesday, October 23rd at the Classic Center from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in Grand Hall 8. The C.R.O.P. Show provides SN professionals the opportunity to meet vendors, exchange ideas, and sample end products prepared from USDA commodities.

If you would like to attend this NO COST training and food show please fill out the registration form and send it back by October 14th.

There is no registration fee for attendance, but we do need to know if you will be attending these events.
