GSNA Industry Advisory Board

Selection Criteria and Responsibilities
 

I.  From GSNA Bylaws:

 

Section E.   Advisory Boards.  There shall be the following advisory boards:

 

Industry Advisory Board. Consists of no more than nine (9) sustaining (corporate) members and selected in accordance with criteria established by the Executive Board.

Responsibilities.

  1. Works with the Exhibits Chairman and Executive Director to develop exhibit plans for the Annual Conference.
  2. Makes recommendations to the Executive Board for policies and standards relating to exhibits.
  3. Promotes the sale of exhibit space.
  4. Serves as liaison between the Association and Industry to promote common goals. 
 

II. Executive Board policy:

 

This Board will consist of no more than nine (9) sustaining (corporate) members from companies exhibiting at the GSNA Annual Conference.  The term of service is three years.

  1. Must be a current Corporate Member of GSNA and maintain corporate membership for the three year term.
  2. Must be an exhibitor (or broker with exhibiting companies) at the GSNA Annual Conference.
  3. Other considerations: Over all support for GSNA such as advertising, sponsorships, and training.
  4. Members of the Industry Advisory Board select a Chairman and Vice-chairman from among the current members. These officers serve for one year.
