Dear Legends,

I hope this message finds you in the best of spirits. First, allow me to say I commend each of you for the hard work and dedication given to our programs in the mission of feeding children. With each passing day, we have proven to be victorious no matter the obstacle!

We are now more than half way through the year still making incredible magic with each passing day. Our hope for the future is that we will be able to enjoy some of the things we may have taken for granted, such as networking and fellowshipping with one another.

One of our toughest challenges this year has been the separation. Yes, the physical work we endure on our day to day has its challenges as well, but I bet most will agree we miss being in the presence of friends and our extended GSNA families.

While our day to day continues to be uncertain, I regret to inform you we will have to postpone our 2021 66th Annual GSNA Conference that would have taken place on the beautiful and historic Jekyll Island. Please know that we at GSNA are vigilantly working and planning something spectacular with the hopes of a “face to face” conference next fall.

Each day is a new day! Each day is a new challenge with a new obstacle. Our hope for each of you across the state is while conquering each obstacle you continue to remain positive and encouraged that this too shall pass.  We are hopeful as we patiently await a time when our worlds will collide again soon.

In the meantime, continue to stay safe and enjoy the little victories.

Until we meet again,

Tessany Lockhart
GSNA President 2020-2021
