The Self-Aware Leader: Relationship Building and Engagement Strategies
Dr. Eric Coleman - Director for the Office of Nutrition Services - Alexandria City Public Schools - Alexandria, VA

Are you aware of how others view you as a leader? This workshop/session guides participants in self-reflection exercises in efforts to become aware of how they engage as a leader. As we think about "how we think" and unpack factors that contribute to the way we engage others, learners will begin to identify their level of self-awareness, comparing perceived assumptions versus reality. Participants will be exposed to relationship building and engagement strategies that will aid in routine self-reflection, understanding how they show-up and engage in everyday relationships, cultivate healthy work environments, and intentionally foster professional team-oriented cultures. It all starts with the leader!
