2024 Legislative Advocacy Conference
February 20-21, 2024
Atlanta, GA

GA LAC Registration Form
The MISSION is to let our legislators know our VISION for school nutrition for 2024.

Georgia has a long and rich history of advocacy for school nutrition. There would be no school nutrition program without our Georgia advocates. GSNA wants you to join us as we continue the tradition of building relationships and educating our Senators and Representatives on the importance of School Nutrition.

The GSNA Legislative Advocacy Conference is one great way to advocate for meaningful change and policy efforts that affect school nutritional programs. GSNA encourages you to take this opportunity to network with your peers, meet with your representatives and ask them to partner with us as we continue the mission of “Build Healthy Children, Ready to Learn”.

Sessions will start at 9:00 am on Tuesday, February 20th with small group round table discussions and legislative training. Our legislative program will cover how to be an advocate for your cause, how to conduct a legislative visit as well as discussions on retirement funding and the GSNA 2024 legislative issues.

We will visit our legislators on Wednesday, February 21st. You must schedule your OWN legislative visits. Note:  Legislators May Not be in session during our meeting, as their calendar is subject to change. You should still make your appointments with them!

The meeting location is 6.3 miles from the state capitol. Our meeting location is convenient to public transportation that will take you to the capitol or it is an easy drive from the hotel.

We encourage ALL to attend. Industry partners and corporate members are welcome!
